+ Renegades Move to 2-0!

The Southern Oregon Renegades put together a 27-point fourth quarter and ran away with a 41-6 victory over the Portland Raiders on Saturday.

Alvin Thornton rushed for 109 yards on 18 carries on his way to a three-touchdown night. Two of his scores came in the in the fourth quarter.

The Renegades ran for 203 yards on 38 carries overall, while the defense stonewalled the Raiders to negative 51 yards rushing.

Renegades quarterback Nate Ellis broke the ice in the second quarter with a 59-yard touchdown pass to Leon Ireland. Ellis, who threw 10-for-17 for 147 yards, also had another TD toss to Gary Colbert in the fourth.

The Southern Oregon Renegades travel  to yakima Washington this week to battle the Mavericks.
