5-5-2012 Willamette High School, Eugene OR. Week 2 of the Pacific Football League 2012 season, the Southern Oregon Renegades took on the Grays Harbor Bearcats of Aberdeen WA. Always a tough battle between the Renegades and Bearcats going back to 2009 NAFL seasons.

Calling all players for the 2012 Pacific Football League season. If your interested in being a part of the Southern Oregon Renegades this 2012 season, stay tuned for open sign ups thru PFL web site link for all up coming team info and tryout’s info.

This season there will be a mediatory $25 to sign up to play in the PFL. The sign up fee is your player insurance fee for $10,000 in coverage. This covers you for any football related event, practice, working out, games and any other event related to football.

Over this past weekend our team was dealt a devastating blow when one of the founding members of our team, Kris Butler, died in a tragic car accident on the Greensprings Highway on his way back to Klamath Falls, where he recently moved. Kris was a 2007 graduate of Eagle Point High School and was only 21 at the time of his passing. He leaves behind countless numbers of family, friends, teammates and colleagues; every single person is absolutely grief-stricken.

Our team as a whole is crushed. We’re struggling to make sense of Kris’ passing and are looking for a positive outlet for our grief. As a team and as personal friends of the Butler family, we feel the very least we can do is dedicate our final home game of the season on Saturday September 11th at Spiegleberg Stadium to the memory of Kristopher L. Butler and to use proceeds generated at the gate to both help the Butler family offset expenses related to Kris’ passing AND raise seed money to establish a permanently endowed scholarship fund in Kris’ name. +July 17th Renegades VS Kitsap County Bears

2009 FWFA (Far West Football Association) Bowl Champions Kitsap County Bears travel to Medford to take on your Southern Oregon Renegades at Spiegelberg Stadium, kickoff is set for 6:00PM. The bears won the first ever meeting between the two teams 24-6 up in Kingston,WA on June 5th 2010.

Come support your Renegades this weekend.
